I had just come back from the first sessions for Peace Maker and was trying to ride a huge wave of recording and writing. Dove headfirst into a bunch of old country records, Buck Owens, Gram Parsons, Townes van Zandt, and tried to kind of emulate that feel and vibe. From mid-2009, I think around springtime.
