"Pink Film" is the first album I ever toured, I released it early 2008. Each copy had a different cover that my friend Parker and I cut out of the pages of magazines, and we drew the tracklisting on some small pieces of paper while driving down the Trans Canada highway en route to Winnipeg and used them as the liner notes. I remember Parker was drawing one of the inserts actually on the steering wheel.

The tour around this album was fucking tiny when I think about it now (Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal) but at the time I remember being so excited and happy when I got home that I had actually gone and finished a tour that I booked on my own. I learned so much about how punk rock actually worked because of this record.

Three of these songs ended up on "13 Songs of Whiskey & Light" but here they are in their original unedited form.
